![]() When I complained, I was told to"take it up with the city". 100$ day for an umbrella and you have no choice because they've taken over the entire beach! There is no room on the beach for anyone unless you rent from them. There is a third party that has taken over waikiki Beach that rents everyone beach stuff for ridiculous prices and no discount for hotel guests. We needed an umbrella for the beach, most hotels would rent their guests stuff like this. The staff were all very accommodating and go above and beyond but they also survive on tips. But, we've stayed at nicer hotels for less money and way better amenities. A lot of street noise Rooms are nice but not worth the price they are charging. I’d stay here again.Located directly on Waikiki Beach, Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort features an oceanfront swimming pool with sun terrace, two on-site oceanfront restaurants, and Blue Note Hawaii. But we spent our time on their beautiful beach. Pool loungers go fast if your not there as soon as they open you probably will not get one. I think it’s totally worth it if your doing a full beach day. We paid $100 per day for two loungers and umbrella on the beach. The property is between the Moana Surfrider hotel and Royal Hawaiian hotel so it’s perfect to walk over and enjoy their restaurants & bars aswell. They did go ahead and give us the voyager club upgrade and we got free breakfast and happy hour everyday so the $85 was definitely worth it. We paid $85 a night extra per night for our upgraded room. We didn’t get a free VIP access upgrade as I hoped. We got an partial ocean view facing the sunset. If you don’t have a car you won’t need one. ![]() ![]() Dukes restaurant is in this hotel by and it’s definitely a place to try if you haven’t.
